An AC has many parts, but the main three are the condenser, evaporator coil, and compressor.

The compressor is located outside the air conditioning unit, which may be located towards your property’s back or side. Other components of the outside unit are the condenser, condenser coil, and fan. The outdoor unit is linked to the inside section of your air conditioning system via a copper refrigerant line.

There are two basic types of air compressors: Positive displacement and Dynamic.
